CHARLOTTE, September 9, 2012 – All you need to know about radical Islam can basically be summed up in three words: Victimization, Justification and Intolerance.

First, a bit of history. Everyone knows, or thinks they know, that 9/11 is an important date, not only in the United States, but in the Islamic world as well. The 9/11 of 2001 has significance for both, but there is another 9/11 in the Middle East.

That event took place more than 300 years ago at the gates of Vienna in 1683. It was then that Islamic expansion in Europe came to a resounding halt after 1,000 years of warfare. That is why the date of 9/11/2001 was chosen by Osama bin Laden.

Three centuries is a long time to carry a grudge, but 1,400 years is even longer and that goes all the way back to the origins of Islam.

Hillary Clinton was correct in her statement that there was no justification for the acts of violence that occurred in Benghazi and Cairo. Where she was wrong was believing that true justification matters in that part of the world.

Supposedly the angry mob that stormed the Embassy in Cairo was incensed by a YouTube video that insulted the Prophet Mohammad. Word number one, “Victimization.”

It doesn’t take much. Muslims are the ultimate “victims.” They thrive on it.

In an article by an author using the pseudonym Archi Medes titled Why Islam is not a Religion of Peace, the writer says, “Like so many things in Islam, appearances can be deceiving, and the apologists are using a typical tactic that is common among Muslims which is victimization.”

Once victimized, “justification” automatically follows. It matters not that Hillary Clinton, or anyone else in the West, thinks the violence is justified. What matters is that the Islamic supremacists believe it is justified.

Mohammad himself used the concept on numerous occasions with his revelations. More often than not the Prophet’s dreams were revelations of convenience to suit whatever needs he had at any given time. Go to bed, have a revelation and voila, in the morning virtually anything could be justified.

That is what happened in Cairo. The “victims” found out about the YouTube video, and they were looking for an excuse to give new significance to 9/11. That “justified” the attacks on the embassy. The result, point number three, “Intolerance.”

In Libya, the murder of American Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three embassy staffers was clearly a planned attack to remind Americans and the West that 9/11 still lives in the hearts and minds of Islamic fundamentalists. Who perpetrated the attack is insignificant. What is important is that it continues to be part of an on-going onslaught by Islamic radicalism throughout the world.

At the DNC President Barack Obama boasted about his foreign policy acumen. On Saturday he declared that we are not at war with Islam.

Neither is true.

Mr. Obama grew up in an Islamic household in an Islamic part of the world. He quotes the Koran during speeches. He speaks Arabic. He bows to Islamic leaders and he apologizes for American beliefs.

When are we going to stop apologizing? When are we going to stop being politically correct so that we do not “hurt the feelings of Muslims?” When are we going to start paying attention and stop ignoring what is taking place in the radical Islamic world? When are we going stop saying that ALL Egyptians are not to blame; that ALL Libyans are not responsible; that ALL Muslims are not terrorists?

We already know all of that. But what we don’t say is that if you eliminate Muslim violence around the world, the world would, for the most part, be a pretty peaceful place.

Over the past three presidential administrations we have had three female Secretaries of State, Madeleine Albright, Condoleezza Rice and Hillary Clinton. All three did credible jobs. All made countless diplomatic trips throughout the Middle East and other Islamic regions of the world. All are highly intelligent and qualified women.

But there is one major flaw, and that is, they are all women. In what universe does anyone believe that a female dealing with the Islamic world can have any significant impact?

America needs to wake up. The coming election is deeper than Republican against Democrat. It is no longer conservative against liberal. This is not the usual divide between political parties and differing ideologies.

The vote in November will be a battle for the very survival of our country, our heritage, our democracy and our freedom.

The events in Benghazi and Cairo demonstrate how naïve and unprepared we are to deal with the growing turmoil in the Islamic world. Four more years under Barack Obama will only bring more of the same.

It is time to stop talking and merely giving lip service to what is happening in the Middle East. It is time for every American to stand up and pay attention by understanding the reality of radical Islam.
