Punk was born in Los Angeles in 1970, coming out of Rodney's English Disco and by the late 1970s bands like Black Flag, The Germs, Social Distortion, and Bad Religion were set to become the Godfathers of a music scene in Southern California that continues to emerge, and grow.
And I am here watching it for you.
