LOS ANGELES, January 4, 2013 — Once again, leftists and Islamists have decided to share a group hug. Think of it as Woodstock, except with more powerful drugs and violence and less sex.
Glenn Beck used to explain how these two seemingly disparate ideologies could work together. They unite long enough out of a common hatred for Western civilization.
Leftist Hollywood hypocrites are nothing new. That story is as original as what the studios produce. In Los Angles, celebrities got together to create an anti-gun video. Clever satirists produced a contra video showing these celebrities handling guns in their movies. This is before getting to the heavily armed security guards these celebrities employ. Listening to celebrities advocate gun control is about as convincing as listening to them denounce cocaine and call girls.
If Hollywood wants bad behavior reduced, it should stop glorifying it and stop doing it. Hollywood celebrities call for higher taxes, but then President Obama turns around and gives them the corporate welfare they decry. Oil companies actually produce a necessary product. Entertainment is a luxury, never a necessity.
In New York, a liberal newspaper printed the names of all law-abiding gun permit holders in two counties. The backlash led the newspaper to hire armed security. Since liberals only care about their own freedoms, the tables may need to be turned.
How insane would it be to publish a registry of all women in the area who have had abortions? Many Americans are pro-life, and do not want to buy a house and raise children in an area where such women live. Afterall, parents have a right to protect their children, so these women should be forced to wear a Scarlet “A” on their chests so they can be properly identified.
The same should be done with an “S” for smokers, “D” for drug-addicts, and a giant “L” for liberals. That way conservatives will know whenever an area they are entering is against freedom and individual liberties.
Yet as awful as the liberal coastal elites of Hypocristan can be, at least most of them do not deliberately do business with terrorists. Lear Jet Liberals are usually more amoral than immoral. Yet sometimes a man comes along with no shame, lecturing us from Northern Snoblovia while his own solar panel glass house cracks.
Al Gore came very close to stealing the 2000 election. His high point was when he declared the election a choice of good against evil. Naturally, he was the prince of (self) righteousness. Gore inherited wealth. He saw his father stand on principle and lose an election. This taught the younger Gore to try and win at all costs, since honor is for suckers. After losing the election, he drowned his sorrows by taking his inherited millions and turning them into billions by promoting an environmental agenda that he himself does not believe in. He flies around the world in a private jet preaching about climate change. The jet does not run on wind power or cow chips.
He took his failed television network, Current TV, and sold it to Al Jazeera. While it may seem like a nominal change, Eliot Spitzer was a lover, not a killer. Jennifer Granholm wrecked Michigan’s economy, but without bombs or bullets. Gore earned $100 million on the deal. He tried to get the deal done by December 31st to avoid paying higher Obama taxes, but sadly he will now have to settle for some form of legalized kickbacks the way Hollywood does.
Gore crossed lines years ago, and not just with masseuses. Now he has so much blood on his hands that he cannot wash away the algae. Al Jazeera is not a news network. It is a terrorist organization. It promotes terrorism by supporting the very violence that has murdered many innocents across the globe for over forty years. Think of it as Hollywood without the fallback position that it is only “playing make-believe.”
Al Jazeera correspondents may not shout “Jihad,” “infidel,” and “Allah Akbar” during their broadcasts, but this does not make their agenda sane. Liberals including Al Gore who put this deal together babbled the usual drivel about “diversity” and “multiculturalism.” Using these (non) standards, perhaps Hollywood can advocate that Jerry Sandusky get his own network. After all, aren’t there multiple points of view on whether sexually assaulting children is good or bad? How dare people be judgmental and only care about the victims! Being a liberal means excusing criminal behavior, so why draw the line at networks financed by Radical Islamists?
Maybe Gore will donate the proceeds of the sale to Israeli victims of Palestinian suicide bombers. Maybe he will use the money to cure AIDS in Africa. After all, not every liberal cares more about trees and and animals than human beings. Gore could become a leftist statistical anomaly by benefiting live people somewhere on Earth.
The deal could possibly be illegal, although try getting any Justice Department led by Eric Holder to investigate the possibility. After all, General Electric does business with Iran, and the Obama administration looks the other way. Now Radical Islam is on American televisions.
Hollywood liberals will continue to blame guns for American violence while ignoring the culture they create. When the next Fort Hood shooter, Christmas underwear bomber, or shoe bomber kills innocent Americans, do not be surprised if it is a young Islamist male who watched Al Jazeera.
Bad behavior is learned. That is called “environment,” which is much more important than the other environment that won Gore, while spreading his own brand of poision, an Oscar and a Nobel Prize.
Since his poison kills people and not trees, Hollywood will not care.
