Obamaworld: When everything is racist, nothing else matters

Whenever any conservative criticizes the job performance of an Obama administration official who happens to be a minority, the left claims bigotry. Yet when everything is bigoted, nothing else matters.

LOS ANGELES, November 28, 2012 – His critics have called the President “lazy,” and “indifferent.” They accused him of being more interested in golfing than governing. The President has been seen as likable, but utterly useless.

Enough about Dwight D. Eisenhower. This is about Barack Obama.

Over the last few weeks, Obama administration officials have come under fire for what critics see as a combination of incompetence and corruption. Attorney General Eric Holder and United Nations Ambassador Susan Rice are engulfed in scandals ranging from Fast and Furious to Benghazi.

Americans ended up murdered, and getting to the truth of what went wrong has proven difficult. Mr. Holder and Ms. Rice have not been forthcoming.

The walls are closing in, and liberals are resorting to the ugliest tactic on the planet. To paraphrase former O.J. Simpson attorney Robert Shapiro, the left is playing the race card from the bottom of the deck.

Many liberals have insisted that any criticism of President Obama or Mr. Holder is motivated by race. Any disagreement with Mr. Obama’s policies is due to a desire of racist white Americans to ensure President Obama fails.

Now Ms. Rice has her defenders claiming that she is being criticized solely for being a black woman. Her critics are not concerned with four murdered Americans including Ambassador Stevens. They are just racists and sexists.

This is more than just insulting. It is poisonous for society.

After the tragic shooting of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, President Obama gave another one of his pious speeches about “coming together.” Yet Mr. Obama’s entire strategy since his 2008 election has been to pit people against each other by demonizing his critics as having bigoted motives.

While this strategy allowed him to eke out a reelection, it makes it almost impossible for him to govern. Governing requires working with people, and the key to working relationships is trust. Mr. Obama, Mr. Holder, and Ms. Rice may all be black, but their melanin content is peripheral. The problem is that they may be what former New York Times writer William Safire once said about First Lady Hillary Clinton:  The current White House may contain congenital liars.

Mrs. Clinton is now the outgoing Secretary of State, and as usual she is shrouded in scandal stemming from Benghazi.

For those bothering to focus on the actual issues, FBI Director William Clapper aa PBWG (Powerful Bald White Guy), is being questioned in the same aggressive manner.

There are several solutions to the cancerous line of racism constantly emanating from the Obama White House.

Some healthy mocking is a good start. As of now, there is not a single minority anywhere in America doing a bad job at anything. To suggest otherwise is racist, sexist, bigoted, and homophobic. Any criticism of Obama, Holder, and Susan Rice is motivated in hatred dating back to the 1860s. Every single word in the dictionary is now racist and forbidden, requiring total silence. The silent treatment may also be bigoted.

For those attending public schools, the 1860s was when evil confederate soldiers George W. Bush and Sarah Palin enslaved Mexican children in Gitmo and forced them to work in Wall Street internment camps filling out New Accounts paperwork for Goldman Sachs. Anyone denying this is a racist who hates the environment.

The next solution is for everyone to celebrate the holiday, “Shut the (Sandra) Fluke up and go to work Day.” It crosses all spectra. Guilty white liberals need not apply, because it requires a meritocracy. Sorry in advance if ‘meritocracy’ is racist.

The next step is to emulate the National Football League. Black and white players fight hard together, and opponents hug each other after games. Black rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III and white rookie quarterback Andrew Luck are both rightfully praised and admired. Failed black quarterback JaMarcus Russell and failed white quarterback Ryan Leaf are both scorned.

The idea that an NFL player’s job performance is based on race is universally regarded throughout the league as ludicrous. The same goes for the coaches, who get hired and fired for every reason under the sun other than skin color.

The last step in the process is for conservatives and others who are victims of false slurs to defend themselves aggressively. Bogus charges must be countered swiftly and severely, and those spreading the false accusations must be publicly shamed. The way to end racism itself is to make the stigma so painful that nobody would want to publicly engage in such vile behavior. The same standard must be held for those crying wolf.

President Barack Obama in many ways is no different than Michael Dukakis, Al Gore or John Kerry. He is a liberal, and conservatives want to defeat liberalism.

Yet he does have one difference from them, and it is not about skin color. They lost. He won. He has to govern, which means being held to a higher standard. He has to represent everyone. This does not mean he has to agree with conservative solutions, nor does it mean they have to bend to his demands.

What he does have to do is conduct himself with dignity, class, honesty, integrity, and decency. On many occasions, he and his supporters have utterly failed to do this.

He won the job. He hired the people (We hope, let’s give him the benefit of the doubt) based on merit. Now his people have to do their jobs well. When they fail to do this, they have to be held accountable.

Maureen Dowd of all people claimed that President Obama could learn from RGIII, the Redskins rookie quarterback. Instead, Obama is on the verge of becoming the next JaMarcus Russell, the former first-round pick who failed as an NFL quarterback. Yet as unsuccessful as his career was, Mr. Russell did not blame bigotry.

In short, it is time for the children to stop crying, start acting like adults, and take personal responsibility for their failures. Parents of all races understand this.

Otherwise, we can live in a world where everything in life is bigoted. At that point, nothing in life will matter.
