Mitt Romney's overseas trip: A spectacular success

LOS ANGELES, August 1, 2012 — Governor Mitt Romney recently took an overseas trip to Great Britain, Israel and Poland. While the leftist media and other members of the Obama campaign reelection team would like to focus on perceived “gaffes,” the trip was a total, spectacular and complete success.

From England to Israel to Poland, one common theme emanated throughout the trip. People who matter like Mitt Romney, while people who don’t matter despise him. People who benefit global society warmly embraced him while people who detract from society prayed for him to fail.

This dichotomy began in England. Governor Romney, when prodded with a “gotcha” question, answered honestly. He stated that he was not sure that the British were ready for the 2012 London Olympics from a security standpoint.

The British media howled indignantly. Yet beneath their self-righteousness was an inescapable truth. Governor Romney was right. The solution is for somebody less diplomatic than Governor Romney to deliver the message with less tact.

Let me oblige.

The London Olympic security situation is a complete debacle. Mitt Romney knows how to put together a successful Olympic games. Apparently he knows more than the entire nation of England since they don’t.

American athletes are on foreign soil and we don’t want our athletes murdered by terrorists like the Israelis were at Munich. So yes an American presidential candidate should make sure American citizens are safe from a European continent that from an anti-terrorism standpoint does everything wrong.

Enough coddling Europe. Their feelings matter less than American lives. If nobody bombs London during the games, this does not give England a gold medal. The host country is supposed to prevent attendees from being blown to kingdom come. Apparently Winston Churchill’s stiff upper lip never reached its way to the crybabies in the British media.

In Israel, Governor Romney was greeted warmly by Israelis and derided by Palestinians. This alone should be enough to elect Governor Romney President.

While Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was having an adult conversation with Mr. Romney about Iran, Palestinian terrorist Saeb Erekat was calling Mr. Romney a “racist.”

Saeb Erekat is not the Palestinian version of Baghdad Bob. He is not just a spokesperson. He is also not just a legislator. While he has personally not detonated any bombs, he has actively worked to release terrorists from Israeli prisons.

He is working to release all Palestinian prisoners, regardless of the crimes they have committed. Like most of his ilk, he is more outraged by the pointing out of bad behavior than the bad behavior itself.

Governor Romney earned Jihadist Erekat’s ire by pointing out that the GDP of Israel was significantly higher than that of the Palestinians. He alluded to the successful Israeli culture.

Once again, the luxury of being a private citizen means not being constrained in the way Governor Romney is. Some brutal honesty is required. The Palestinians are a total failure from a civilization standpoint. They are a culture that promotes death. They glorify murder. Israel values peace and life. This is why Israel has contributed to the world in the fields of law, medicine, business, and technology.

There is not a single societal contribution that the Palestinian leadership has ever offered the world that can be considered positive.

This does not mean every single Palestinian is a terrorist. It does mean that 80% of the Palestinians voted for Hamas, a terrorist organization. 80 percent of the voters chose terrorism. So what if Hamas provides social services? The KKK built schools (that taught hate, just like Palestinian schools). They also lynched people. All good deeds are invalidated when a group commits murders.

Saeb Erekat is a spokesperson for those supporting global terrorism. Let him hate Mitt Romney.

Repeating the racism charge was a non-entity named Cenk Uygur. His hatred for Romney runs so deep that he should be affiliated with the Huffington Post and Al Gore rage-a-thon Current TV.

Come to think of it, he is.

Uygur is a perfect example of the leftists and the Islamists united in hatred of Jews and Republicans. After lambasting Romney over his Palestinian comments, this “commentator” said about Romney that “This son of a bitch actually thinks he’s better than the rest of us because he was born to a mega-rich dad, figured out how to cheat the system at Bain and hid away so much of his money abroad.”

In Poland, the story was the same. Romney was praised by solidarity hero Lech Walesa. Walesa speaks for the millions of Eastern Europeans who love Ronald Reagan and detest leftist collectivism. Walesa publicly endorsed Governor Romney, wishing him success in winning the election.

Unlike Romney, President Obama is not well regarded in Poland. His “reset” with Russia meant America breaking our word to the Polish people regarding a missile defense system. Obama threw an ally under the bus and appeased the Russians, getting nothing in return. President Vladimir Putin has run circles around Obama, and Walesa understands the real dangers in this world. American hegemony is not a threat. Russia rebuilding their empire is.

So what did the American media focus on? They screamed at Governor Romney about his “gaffes” while he was visiting the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Even by American media standards, this was low class. A Romney spokesperson reacted angrily, leading to more media coverage about everything but the Lech Walesa endorsement.

Now let’s add up the scores in totality, since a man should be judged by his friends and his enemies.

Governor Romney was attacked by the British Media, the American Media, Saeb Erekat, Current TV, and the Huffington Post.

Governor Romney was praised by Benjamin Netanyahu and Lech Walesa.

Leftists and Islamists despise Governor Romney. People who matter like him.

Governor Romney’s trip was a complete and total success. No amount of frothing anti-America, anti-Semitic, and anti-conservative Republican rage can change this.
