SAN DIEGO, April 16, 2012 – Dancing With The Stars is an international phenomenon with variations on the show in over 28 countries, including the U.S.

Tonight is week five of Dancing With The Stars 2012 and it’s Latin Night. Three couples dance the samba: Gavin DeGraw and Karina Smirnoff; Gladys Knight and Tristan McManus; and Jaleel White and Kym Johnson.

Couples Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower; Melissa Gilbert and Maks Chmerkovskiy; and Maria Menounos and Derek Hough will tackle the salsa.

The remaining three couples will dance the Argentine Tango: Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas; Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd; and William Levy and Cheryl Burke.

Driver and Murgatroyd dance last, the position considered the most favorable for getting the best consideration from the judges and the dance fans remember most clearly as voting gets underway at the end of the show. The rest of the order isn’t known, although Twitter rumors have Katherine Jenkins dancing fourth.

The night kicks off with a performance by two fan favorite professional dancers, Anna Trebunskaya and Louie Van Amstel.

Expect Donald Driver, Roshon Fegan, and Maria Menounos to be at the top of the leaderboard, and Melissa Gilbert, Jaleel White, and Gladys Knight at the bottom of the scoreboard by the end of the show.

“Dancing With the Stars” returns for week 5 of the competition on Monday night, April 16, 8 p.m. Eastern/Pacific Time, on the ABC Television Network.

Join Jacquie, Jim, Danny and Gayle as we talk, and vote, for our favorite duo.  Which team are you on?
