Now Hurricane Obama says he can add 1 million new jobs. Is this more hot air? A new installment of Photo: AP

CHICAGO, August 31, 2011 -  First it was Hurricane Irene blowing hot air;  now it is President Obama. On Tuesday,  after almost three years in office, the  President has finally decided that he needs  to add jobs to the economy.

"There is no doubt that we can take steps  that would mean the economy was  growing a percent or a percentage and a  half faster. That could mean half a million to  a million additional jobs," said Obama in an  interview Tuesday with radio host Tom Joyner.

With 13.9 million Americans unemployed  and more than 45 million on food stamps, is  this just more overblown political rhetoric  from President Obama? You decide.
