WASHINGTON, June 17, 2013 — Arch-conservative Pastor EW Jackson could open deep and divisive wounds between gays and blacks that have been simmering beneath the surface for years.
His victory in the Republican Primary for Lt Governor of Virginia puts Jackson directly at odds with the super liberal Barak Obama, the President of the United States of America, who signed legislation allowing homosexuals to openly serve in the Armed Forces and proclaimed it a great day for freedom.
Pastor EW Jackson responded by saying the new Marine motto could change to ‘The Few, the Proud, the Sexually Twisted.’ He continued to say that the US military may have some recruiting issues as a result of the new policy, “Good luck selling that to strong young males who would otherwise love to defend their country. What virile young man wants to serve in a military like that?”
Republican Party Candidate Jackson is speaking from experience since he bravely served three years in the Marines.
In the past, black politicians, particularly Democrats, have aligned with gays for money and votes. Former mayor of Washington DC Marion Barry admits that he won his first election against Walter Washington in Washington, DC because he actively courted gay voters.
Democratic President Obama heavily courted gay fundraisers and rewarded two of his largest gay fund raisers with diplomatic posts. Rufus Gifford, a gay contributor who raised millions, received the coveted ambassador post to Denmark and James Costos was nominated as the Ambassador to Spain.
Pastor Jackson may be seen as openly hostile to gay voters. He said that “Homosexuality is a horrible sin, it poisons culture, it destroys families, it destroys societies; it brings the judgment of God unlike very few things that we can think of… It’s an authoritarian, totalitarian spirit.”
He has also stated, “Their minds are perverted, they’re frankly very sick people psychologically, mentally and emotionally and they see everything through the lens of homosexuality. When they talk about love they’re not talking about love, they’re talking about homosexual sex.”
Some in the Republican Party worry that Earl W Jackson may be too conservative. Ari Fleisher, former White House Press Secretary for President Bush said that “Jackson’s anti-gay slurs are indefensible.”
Others, however, see his story as a foster child, US Marine and Harvard Law School and Divinity School degrees and Bishop as the correct path to restore American morals. As of now, The Lt Governors race will definitely get a lot more interesting.
