Having retired from a 33 year career of teaching, I turned my attention to journalism. I have been writing my own style column for Recreation News since April, 2005, reaching more than a quarter-million readers monthly. I have also published in the Baltimore Sun, Valley Times, the Island Breeze, and Howard County Business Monthly.
My instyle stories have covered such diverse topics as Mah Jongg, pet pampering, combat shopping in New York City, and Southwest fashions. I expect to continue writing for years to come.
