SAN DIEGO, May 25, 2013 – If watching sports on TV is your idea of an ideal long holiday weekend, things don’t get much better than Memorial Day weekend. It’s got a lot more to offer than just the Indy 500.

ABC is the home of all things Indianapolis 500, “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing.” It begins live with pre-race programming at 6:15 a.m. ET on Sunday, May 26.

The racing action on Fox is all about NASCAR, with the NASCAR Sprint Cup Coca-Cola 500 at 12 noon ET on Sunday. Three time winner Jimmie Johnson will go after a fourth victory.

One of the four grand slams in tennis begins Sunday, the French Open. ESPN2 will show 50 hours of coverage.

The Stanley Cup playoffs continue all three days. NBA conference finals are played on Saturday, Sunday and Monday as well.

Fight fans have world championship boxing action from London’s O2 Arena as Britain’s Carl Froch fights in front of a hometown crowd against Danish fighter Mikkel Kessler in a super middleweight unification bout. Kessler handed Froch his only loss three years ago.

Throw in the PGA Tour, UEFA League soccer final, and NCAA sports, and you might barely have time to refresh your drinks. Here’s our handy schedule of the weekend’s sports highlights by day.
