Jennifer Burke is the Senior Writer for TheTeaParty.net and the Online Editor/Contributor for the Tea Party News Network (TPNN.com). She had her political awakening at the Porkulus Tea Party in Seattle in February 2009, credited with being on of the first tea parties in the country. Jennifer was a speaker at the Seattle Tax Day Tea Party at Westlake Center on April 15, 2010 as well as at the WA 4 WI rally in support of Scott Walker. She has assisted with social networking training through the Washington State based Freedom Foundation, was the Grassroots Coordinator for the Washington State Chapter of Americans for Prosperity, and was a member of the second graduating class of the Jennifer Dunn Leadership Institute (JDLI).
Jennifer spent twelve years of her career teaching in the Houston, TX area. A graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Psychology and teacher certification through the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Jennifer loves spending time with her husband, 3 step-children, and her 3 doggies who were all adopted from shelters. After spending 7 rainy years in the Seattle area, she is happy to be settling into the Valley of the Sun, Phoenix, AZ.
