NEW YORK, June 28, 2012—The USA Track & Field Olympic Trials resume today in Eugene, Ore. Many big-name runners like Tyson Gay, Sanya Richards-Ross and Galen Rupp have already made Team USA. Others like Bernard Lagat and Allyson Felix have yet to qualify.
While we mere mortal runners may never know what it’s like to run for gold, we can show our red, white and blue too with USA Track & Field’s limited edition Nike USATF Air Pegasus+ 29. Emblazoned with USATF’s “star and wings” logo, the new Air Pegasus+ 29 is the official shoe of the U.S. Olympic Trials.
The Pegasus is one of Nike’s original running shoes that grew out of the running boom in the ‘80s. Updated for a new generation of runners, the Nike USATF Air Pegasus+ 29 is a limited edition: just 400 pairs for men and 200 pairs for women.
It’s just one more way to support Team USA. The shoes cost $100 or $90 for USATF members.
