Peter Christian is a veteran feature writer for The Sports Bank.net, the author of the weekly column "The Call-Outs" and the host of The Sports Bank's official podcast, "The Deposit." He started writing for the website at its birth in January of 2007 under the guidance of Paul M. Banks. Prior to joining The Sports Bank, Peter was consuming his sports from a far more objective point of view as a sports photographer for the NBC affiliate in Western Wisconsin.
Peter is an avid fan of pretty much anything that features good competition and something to form an opinion on but as a born and raised Minnesotan, his loyalties lie with the Twins, Vikings, Wild, Timberwolves and Gophers.
His love for hockey developed at a young age as just another youth player in "The State of Hockey" and a die hard fan of the Minnesota North Stars. After the North Stars left (thanks again, Norm Green) for Dallas, Peter continued to follow the league and he has never faltered as a fan.
