CALICUT, January 20, 2013- How inclusive is the narrow coarse road to our destination? How straight is the straight and narrow to lead a gratifying life?
If might has its slithery way, failure ploughs along,
As one gets mightier, the coarse road gets narrower,
Crafting an oblique path while gathering the sand,
Provoking the sight to fill in the shady grooves,
While askance is built around the pervasive vision.
Clouds bearing rain, rains showering shifty seed,
Supplanting today by uprooting a misplaced today,
The rotting glory of callow soil whines in disharmony,
Verdant remains unseasoned with time frankly recall,
Recall the dynamics with a cyclical urge to splurge,
Surge ahead in traces, hidden paces and dark spaces,
Grazing in the background of reels and wheels,
When the ball is hit into courts of departed Chance,
It accidentally bounces off into courtyards of Adventure,
As it’s hit to miss in a tangential frame of eclipsing Hope,
Gravity comes to the rescue as it parks its sudden weight,
And we’re brought down to earth in hues and cries,
As the straight and narrow beckons us again into Succor.
