When a pundit speaks about Barack Obama’s legacy he is talking about a
Barack Obama could not care less about his place in American history. Time and again he has demonstrated contempt for the country and the people who elected him. So long as the president advances his personal subversive agenda that will be accomplishment enough for him.
Shortly after Obama was elected, Tom Brokaw and Charlie Rose discussed at length how little the media and the American people knew about the new president They were astounded that the vetting process for Obama had been so limited, even though journalists of their ilk wholeheartedly endorsed him.
Even in recent days, highly credentialed conservative analysts such as George Will and Charles Krauthammer admitted that they, too, were initially taken in by Obama’s “charisma.” In retrospect, such confessions seem beyond comprehension that two writers of such intelligence could be duped by fancy rhetoric when they, themselves, became multi-millionaires through their ability to use words as a weapon.
Based on Obama’s previous presidential strategies, one now has to ask whether the Obamacare debacle is as real as the media keeps telling us it is, or if it is, in fact, a smokescreen to secretly focus on other things while our attention is elsewhere.
For every other American president, such diversionary practices would have quickly been dismissed as conspiratorial, but with Obama they are more likely to be fact rather than fiction. The president has operated this way since his first day in office.
How many times did we hear the words, “If you like your insurance, you can keep your plan. If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor.”? Day after day, speech after speech Barack Obama shouted those words, yet today the president’s operatives boldly, without batting an eye or breaking a smile, tell us he meant something else.
If would be laughable if it wasn’t so frightening. Terrifying because people apparently continue to believe what the president says, even when he is incapable of telling the truth about anything. The list is endless:
While the press continues to predict dire consequences for the Affordable Care Act, few reaporters, if any, are investigating the situation to find out whether the looming disaster might be precisely what the administration desires in order to achieve their goals through non-traditional methods. Far-fetched? Possibly, but is it not worth researching, just in case?
As the chaos continues domestically, the international community is set to resume nuclear talks with Iran in
In an alarming article by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), they write, “Attempting to conceal the gaps between its position and Europe’s, the U.S. is demanding that the 5+1-Iran track be conducted in secret.”
In other words, it appears the Obama administration is seeking to circumvent the other members of the group by conducting direct talks with Iran which would also be done secretly.
According to MEMRI, “It should be emphasized that the Obama administration is considering unfreezing tens of billions of dollars’ worth of Iranian assets, a move that would likely be accompanied by an Iranian announcement that it is reducing the level to which it is enriching uranium. Iran is interested in direct talks with the U.S. because the consensus in the 5+1 – that is, the international community’s position – remains unchanged”
If nothing else, Barack Obama is consistent. He deals with everyone in the same manner. Globally or domestically his tactics are always diversionary. Say one thing, do something else. Lie now, change the lie later.
Talking about a legacy used to be important in
Obama came into office with an agenda designed to fundamentally change America as we know it. The president is succeeding because he is capitalizing on the fact that the old guard is unable adapt to new rules they neither understand and nor are willing to accept.
