Breaking news: Arrest report retracted!

WASHINGTON, April 17, 2013 – 2:37pm - Authorities are now saying that they DO NOT HAVE ANYONE IN CUSTODY AT THIS TIME.

2:23pm - According to CNN, a marathon watcher took a series of picture that allegedly capture the bomber running away.

An arrest has been made based on two different videos that allowed images of the suspect to be clearly identified. The break through came about due to a video capture of the second bombing site.

Analysis shows the person placing the black bag and backing away.

Arrest made in bombing

The video was captured by the Lord & Taylor exterior surveillance camera revealing a clear image of the suspect, a dark skinned male, dropping a bag, presumed to contain the bomb, prior to the explosion. A local television camera offered a corroborating image.

Boston Mayor Thomas Menino recovering in the hospital has confirmed that there is significant progress in the case.

A press conference is scheduled for 5:00pm this evening.

No information is available on who the person is, nationality, race or what they motive may be. The suspect has been take to a US Courthouse by US Marshalls.
