A night at fencing practice

Monday, November 16, 2009 - To The Point by Ilya Lobanenkov

Wanting to share the Sport of Kings with you a bit more, last week we had a pro photographer, Yana Petrova, come to practice and take some shots of us doing our thing.

I hope you will enjoy some of the photos Yana took.

What makes fencing a great workout, is that you don't notice that you are getting one.

Try paying attention to your fatigue when someone is attacking you with almost four feet of steel. The best part is that you're happy afterwards, satisfied that you were able to defend yourself and improve as a human being.

Happy Fencing!
