What sequester? Vicarious vacationing with the Obamas

Ahhh … just imagine the luxury of it all! Photo: Jim Bozeman

MILLINOCKET, Maine, June 2, 2013 – So where will you travel this summer? Due to the sequester and the economy, most Americans will probably not be vacationing at exotic locations, or pricey resorts.

As the cost of gasoline rises, (funny how that always happens just as good driving weather arrives) there will be less incentive to rack up the miles on the family car.
Never fear citizens, you can vacation vicariously with the Obama family this year. Michelle and the girls have planned an all expenses paid (by you, of course) extended stay on Martha’s Vineyard.

Can you imagine hobnobbing with the rich and famous? Or dining in fine restaurants that cater to the well heeled? Or taking jaunts on the briny aboard well-connected peoples’ yachts? Ahhh … just imagine the luxury of it all!

You can almost smell the ocean breeze mixed with … oops, the hot dogs are burning.

Gotta go. Drop over later for lunch and a beer.
