MILLINOCKET, Maine, July 14, 2013 – There have been a few fun stories so far this summer and it isn’t even August yet!
Let’s start in Stockton, Calif., where a couple of ne’er do wells decided to stick-up the local Burger King. While they were robbing the store, an employee sneaked out the back and found the get-away car, motor running, awaiting the return of the perps.
Said employee hopped in the car and drove it around the corner and out of sight.
The two robbers ran out with their loot and were soon captured by the police as they wondered, “Why is the car gone?”
Next we have summer reading recommendations from the Hempstead, NY school district. The list includes F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic, “The Great Gypsy.”
Finally we stop in Washington, DC, where Democratic Reps. Donna Edwards of Maryland and Eddie Bernice Johnson of Texas want to create a national historic park on the moon.
You can order Pithanthropy, The Human Conditioner, in print and on Kindle from Amazon.com
