Militant LGBTs are bullying Phil Robertson and A&E

MILLINOCKET, Maine, December 22, 2013 – There is supposed to be a movement in this country to reduce or eliminate bullying, but apparently the LGBT community endorses bullying.

When Phil Robertson of the Arts and Entertainment Network’s hit series “Duck Dynasty” expressed his heterosexual and religious preferences, there was quick reaction from GLAAD (Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) spokesman Wilson Cruz.

In an interview with GQ magazine, Robertson said, “It seems to me, a vagina—as a man—would be more desirable than a man’s anus.”

He also said, “We never, ever judge someone on who’s going to heaven or hell. That’s the Almighty’s job. We just love ‘em, give ‘em the good news about Jesus — whether they’re homosexuals, drunks, terrorists. We let God sort ‘em out later, you see what I’m saying?”

Robertson merely stated that he prefers heterosexual intercourse, and the basic message of Christianity.

Cruz responded, “Phil and his family claim to be Christian, but Phil’s lies about an entire community fly in the face of what true Christians believe.”

Robertson did not lie “about an entire community,” he expressed his opinion on the subject of sexual preferences. Since when is stating biological facts about human sexual practices a lie? If Robertson had also included male to male fellatio, would that have been a lie?

It is bullying to demand punishment for expressing a personal preference.

A&E allowed itself to be bullied as well. They have suspended Phil Robertson indefinitely, ignoring some of the reasons for the popularity of the Duck Dynasty franchise, plain talk and Christian principles.

A&E may come to regret its decision. Glenn Beck’s new network, The Blaze, has already offered “Duck Dynasty” a place in its program line-up. If they switch, A&E will have lost its Golden Goose … er Duck.
