Dems and GOP seek the common ground they are already standing on (Cartoon)

MILLINOCKET, ME, November 12, 2011—They make a good show of appearing to confront one another, but what do our congressmen really want? I contend that they have already found their common ground and it has nothing to do with solving critical issues. It boils down to protecting their positions.

This grand scheme called Gridlock is excellent theater, but that’s all it is. They know they’ve got it made, and making too many real changes could jeopardize the status quo. And maintaining the status quo is the only common ground they really seek.

Do Nancy and Gene have the same hair stylist?
Just wondering.
