MILLINOCKET, Maine, December 31, 2011 – A shadowy group calling themselves Pro Hominem Order Nostredeme Illiterati Exemplar (PHONIE) has revealed what they are calling the “Lost Quatrains of Nostradamus” which purportedly predict the outcome of events for the year 2012.
The good news: indications are Ron Paul wins. The bad news: the world ends shortly thereafter. Read them yourself and make your own conclusions:
Lost Quatrains of Nostradamus
A millennium and the twelve beyond
bring an elder Pahl to the honored seat.
Minions buy and sell coveted favors
and fallow hearts give lie to wisdom.
A full moon hence in churning flourish,
the virgin celebration ends time and days.
The shrouded void consumes the light,
thus all souls return to their chosen gods.
Boom! Charge illegals for citizenship
Maybe we are missing an opportunity here. Why doesn’t the US government set up a Cash for Citizenship program? Don’t laugh, many illegals pay thousands of dollars to “coyotes” that use dangerous and sometimes deadly methods to smuggle them into the US.
We could save lives and make extra money to pay down the national debt.
All we’d have to do is send a fleet of empty buses into Mexico, charge a thousand bucks a seat (roughly 13,000 pesos). That’s about $50,000 per bus. When each bus is full, it heads back to the US border. There it crosses without incident and then the driver hands out citizenship papers to all the riders… Boom! Instant work force… Boom! Reduce Border Patrol/ICE budgets dramatically…Boom! An end to the deportation controversy.
Employers could set up hiring stations at the border and charter those same buses to transport their new employees to work! Boom! Reduced unemployment figures! Boom! More extra money from the bus charter fees! Boom! A win-win situation for everybody!
