WASHINGTON, October 19th 2012- Adventures in Yogaland will expand its New York city children’s yoga program and teacher training workshops to Washington D.C. with its first two weekend intensive training session October 27th through October 28th and November 3rd through November 4th. The workshops will provide training for children’s Yoga teachers to be located in the Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia area. No previous yoga experience is necessary to attend the training program.
Participants will learn how to teach Yoga Poses, Games, Songs, Concentration and Philosophy to children 2-12 years. The training also includes a shared teaching experience of children’s yoga class, training manual, training certification, one on one mentoring with founder Lara Land, continued online mentoring and first selection for job opportunities in Washington DC and NYC.
Where: The training program will take place at The ARC (Town Hall Education Arts Recreation Campus) located at 1901 Mississippi Avenue SE Large Studio, Suite 202.
When: Saturday October 27th 4 pm-8 pm, Sunday October 28th 11 am -7 pm,
Saturday November 3rd 4 pm -8 pm, Sunday November 4th 11 am-7 pm
