LOS ANGELES, September 29, 2013 — Welcome to The Washington Times Communities NFL chat for the Washington Redskins at Oakland Raiders game. Please feel free to chime in and have your voice heard. Today you will interact with Communities football analyst, Eric Golub, as well as the Communities sports editor, Kevin J. Wells.
The Washington Redskins are an impressive 0-3 and RGIII is by all accounts having a bad year while returning from his knee injury. That being said, Washington is fifth in the NFL in passing yards at 307.3 per game. Their three losses have largely been a result of a very bad defense that ranks 31st in points given up, passing yards and rushing yards.
Oakland is coming off a Monday Night Football loss to the Denver Broncos last week. The Raiders are 1-2 with their only victory being against a Jacksonville Jaguar team that could realistically go 0-16 this year. The Raiders are third in the NFL with 148.7 yards rushing per game.
Projection: Washington is favored by three. Upset special, Raiders win outright.
