LOS ANGELES, September 29, 2013 — Welcome to The Washington Times Communities NFL chat for the Philadelphia Eagles at Denver Broncos game. Please feel free to chime in and have your voice heard. Today you will interact with Communities football analyst, Eric Golub, as well as the Communities sports editor, Kevin J. Wells.
Philadelphia brings its hich-octane offense to Denver. Will the altitude affect the Eagles’ players and the speed of their offense? The Eagles are first in the NFL in rushing with 209 yards per game. The defense, however, is a typical Chip Kelly defense that seems to just want to get the offense back on the field by any means necessary.
The Denver Broncos are 3-0 on the golden arm of Peyton Manning. The guy is on a mission this year to break every single season passing record that he can. Denver’s defense is built to stop the rush and should force Vick to throw the ball more. Denver’s offense will have no problem putting up a ton of points.
Projection: Broncos are favored by 10 ½ points. Denver wins, but fails to cover.
