LOS ANGELES, September 29, 2013 — Welcome to The Washington Times Communities NFL chat for the New York Jets at Tennessee Titans game. Please feel free to chime in and have your voice heard. Today you will interact with Communities football analyst, Eric Golub, as well as the Communities sports editor, Kevin J. Wells.
The Tennessee Titans are 2-1 this season and 1-0 at home. Jake Locker led the Titans on a 94-yard scoring drive to beat the San Diego Chargers last week. Tennessee’s defense has given up 18.7 points per game through the first three games.
The New York Jets also 2-1, but are 0-1 on the road. That loss came in a 13-10 loss to the New England Patriots. The Jets are sixth in the NFL with 133.7 rushing yards per game, but 17th in passing yards. New York fell 17-10 last December in Tennessee, which was the only meeting between the two teams.
Projection: Tennessee is favored by 3 1/2 Titans win.
