LOS ANGELES, September 22, 2013 — Welcome to The Washington Times Communities NFL chat for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New England Patriots game. Please feel free to chime in and have your voice heard. Today you will interact with Communities football analyst, Eric Golub, as well as the Communities sports editor, Kevin J. Wells.
The Buccaneers are 0-2 but could easily be 2-0 as dumb mistakes have doomed them late. They lost to the Jets and New Orleans on field goals as time expired by one and two points respectively. Rumors of player revolts against coach Greg Schiano by cornerback Darrell Revis and quarterback Josh Freeman are swirling.
The New England Patriots are 2-0, albeit barely. They needed a last second field goal to defeat Buffalo by two and their offense failed to score at home against the Jets in an ugly 13-10 win. Quarterback Tom Brady is not happy with the offense, and Bill Bellichick is never happy.
Projection: The Patriots are favored by nine points. The Patriots win but fail to cover.
