LOS ANGELES, September 22, 2013 — Welcome to The Washington Times Communities NFL chat for the San Diego Chargers at Tennessee Titans game. Please feel free to chime in and have your voice heard. Today you will interact with Communities football analyst, Eric Golub, as well as the Communities sports editor, Kevin J. Wells.
The Chargers blew a 21 point lead in their opener but came back to win a shootout with Philadelphia 33-30. Coach Mike McCoy seems to have revived quarterback Philip Rivers, who has been plagued by interceptions in recent years.
The Tennessee Titans under Mike Munchak have been playing hard-nosed defense. They won on the road at Pittsburgh and had Houston on the ropes late before losing in overtime. This defense has an attitude, although the offense has yet to catch up.
Projection: The Titans are favored by three points. Upset special, the Chargers will win outright.
