LOS ANGELES, September 22, 2013 — Welcome to The Washington Times Communities NFL chat for the New York Giants at Carolina Panthers game. Please feel free to chime in and have your voice heard. Today you will interact with Communities football analyst, Eric Golub, as well as the Communities sports editor, Kevin J. Wells.
The Giants are a surprising 0-2 as Eli Manning has thrown seven interceptions in the first two games. The offense put up 31 points against Dallas but gave up 36, while the Manning Bowl saw Eli throw four interceptions while Peyton was flawless.
Carolina is 0-2 after a pair of agonizing losses. While driving for the winning touchdown, a fumble near the goal line meant a 12-7 loss to Seattle. On the final play of the game, their defense gave up a touchdown pass by rookie E.J. Manuel in a 24-23 crushing defeat.
Projection: This is a pick ‘em game. The Giants will win.
