LOS ANGELES, September 22, 2013 — Welcome to The Washington Times Communities NFL chat for the Jacksonville Jaguars at Seattle Seahawks game. Please feel free to chime in and have your voice heard. Today you will interact with Communities football analyst, Eric Golub, as well as the Communities sports editor, Kevin J. Wells.
Jacksonville is the worst team in football. They lost at home to Kansas City by 26 and a garbage touchdown against Oakland made a 10 point loss look close. Blaine Gabbert looks awful, but this team is a complete disaster that could go 0-16. Now they travel to face Seattle, one of the best teams in the league. NFL rules prevent this game from being canceled.
Seattle beat the hated 49ers at home by 26 points last week. At 2-0, now they play the bottom of the barrel. Richard Sherman explained that he will not take the Jaguars lightly. Pete Carroll will have to work hard to motivate his team for what could be the biggest mismatch of the year.
Projection: The Seahawks are favored by 19.5 points. The Seahawks will win but fail to cover.
