LOS ANGELES, September 22, 2013 — Welcome to The Washington Times Communities NFL chat for the Detroit Lions at Washington Redskins game. Please feel free to chime in and have your voice heard. Today you will interact with Communities football analyst, Eric Golub, as well as the Communities sports editor, Kevin J. Wells.
The Lions won their opener but suffered a close last week at Arizona due to a terrible decision either by coach Jim Schwartz or quarterback Matthew Stafford. Down by four facing 4th and 4, a West Coast Offense dink and dunk pass meant a two yard completion and a loss.
The Redskins are an 0-2 mess. They fell behind 33-7 to Philadelphia before losing 33-27 and 31-0 and 38-7 to Green Bay before losing 38-20. RGIII is taking the blame, but he does not play defense. So far, neither do any of the Redskins.
Projection: The Redskins are favored by one point. The Redskins will cover.
