LOS ANGELES, September 22, 2013 — Welcome to The Washington Times Communities NFL chat for the Cleveland Browns at Minnesota Vikings game. Please feel free to chime in and have your voice heard. Today you will interact with Communities football analyst, Eric Golub, as well as the Communities sports editor, Kevin J. Wells.
The Browns are 0-2, which is typical. Yet this year they appear to have already surrendered the season. They traded running back Trent Richardson to Indianapolis for the Colts 2014 first round draft pick. That pick will be used on a future bust of a player to be named later. Former President Mike Holmgren blasted the decision by the franchise that has fired Marty Schottenheimer, Bud Carson, and yes, the Walrus Holmgren.
The Vikings have all world running back Adrian Peterson, but quarterback Christian Ponder has not silenced hi critics. Minnesota is 1-1 but unimpressive. Ponder has to get on track for this team to have a chance.
Projection: The Vikings are favored by 5.5 points. The Vikings will cover.
