LOS ANGELES, September 22, 2013 — Welcome to The Washington Times Communities NFL chat for the Buffalo Bills at New York Jets game. Please feel free to chime in and have your voice heard. Today you will interact with Communities football analyst, Eric Golub, as well as the Communities sports editor, Kevin J. Wells.
The Buffalo Bills lost a heartbreaker on a field goal to New England 23-21 in the opener and then won a thriller at the gun over Carolina when rookie quarterback E.J. Manuel threw the winning touchdown pass in a 24-23 heartstopper.
The Jets somehow are 1-1 as they played two of the ugliest games in NFL history. They were bailed out by the refs and won on a field goal at the gun to beat the Bucs 18-17. Then they lost a defensive slugfest with New England 13-10. Rex Ryan has his good defense back, but the offense needs plenty of work.
Projection: The Jets are favored by 1.5 points. The Jets will cover.
