LOS ANGELES, September 15, 2013 — Welcome to The Washington Times Communities NFL chat for the San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks game. Please feel free to chime in and have your voice heard. Today you will interact with Communities football analyst, Eric Golub, as well as the Communities sports editor, Kevin J. Wells.

San Francisco added Anquan Boldin from the Baltimore Ravens. The move proved to be a genius one last week. In week 1, Boldin looked like the missing piece that the Niners needed last year to win the Super Bowl. Boldin had 208 yards receiving in San Francisco’s win over the Green Bay Packers.

The Seattle Seahawks are a legitimate contender this year and will be a thorn in the Niners sides all year. Pete Carroll has his defense dialed in and his offense is only getting stronger. They defeated the Carolina Panthers in week 1, 12-7.

Projection: Seattle is favored by three. Seahawks win and cover the spread.
