LOS ANGELES, September 15, 2013 — Welcome to The Washington Times Communities NFL chat for the Detroit Lions at Arizona Cardinals game. Please feel free to chime in and have your voice heard. Today you will interact with Communities football analyst, Eric Golub, as well as the Communities sports editor, Kevin J. Wells.

The Detroit Lions survived Adrian Peterson and the Vikings last week, winning 34-24 at home. Matt Stafford threw for 357 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Reggie Bush ran for 90 yards in his Lions debut and tacked on another 101 yards receiving with a touchdown.

The Arizona Cardinals lost to the St. Louis Rams on a field goal in the final minute. Carson Palmer targeted 10 different receivers while throwing for 327 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.

Projection: Detroit is favored by one point. Cardinals will win outright.
