LOS ANGELES, September 15, 2013 — Welcome to The Washington Times Communities NFL chat for the Dallas Cowboys at Kansas City Chiefs game. Please feel free to chime in and have your voice heard. Today you will interact with Communities football analyst, Eric Golub, as well as the Communities sports editor, Kevin J. Wells.
Dallas survived Eli Manning’s 450 yards passing and four touchdown passes to beat the New York Giants in Dallas. While the Cowboys didn’t look like anything special on offense, they did benefit from Brandon Carr’s 49-yard pick six and Barry Church’s 27-yard fumble returned for a touchdown.
Kansas City new head coach Andy Reid his first victory when they beat up on the Jacksonville Jaguars, 28-2, last week. Alex Smith used nine players to complete 21 of 34 passes for 173 yards and two touchdowns in his Chiefs debut.
Projection: Kansas City is favored by 2 ½ points. Cowboys will pull an upset and win outright.
