LOS ANGELES, September 15, 2013 — Welcome to The Washington Times Communities NFL chat for the Carolina Panthers at Buffalo Bills game. Please feel free to chime in and have your voice heard. Today you will interact with Communities football analyst, Eric Golub, as well as the Communities sports editor, Kevin J. Wells.
The Carolina Panthers hosted the Seattle Seahawks last week. They hung tough, leading 7-3 at the half, but ultimately lost 12-7. Cam Newton had just 125 yards passing and 38 yards rushing. Though they lost, it was a good showing against a very strong Seattle team.
The Buffalo Bills too hung in there against a tough team in the New England Patriots. They even led 21-17 after three quarters, but ended up losing, 23-21, on Stephen Gostkowski’s 35-yard field goal with five seconds left in the game.
Projection: Carolina is favored by three points. Buffalo wins outright.
