A few years ago these awful teams played a thriller won 38-37 by the Lions on the final play. Now these teams are both improved. Cleveland has won three straight. Yet the difference was new Browns quarterback Brian Hoyer. His injury means Brandon Weeden returns to the lineup, which means Cleveland reverts back to its losing ways.
The Lions are favored by 2.5. The Lions will cover.
