LOS ANGELES, September 22, 2012 — Week 2 of the 2012 NFL season is now in the books, and Week 3 is upon us.
Here is the Week 2 recap.
Before getting to Week 3, the NFL lost a great man this past week. After a lengthy battle with cancer, NFL Films President Steve Sabol died.
His father Ed Sabol founded the company, but Steve Sabol has run it for the last few decades. Steve Sabol lived long enough to see his father inducted a few weeks ago into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The HOF would not be what it is today without NFL Films. The entire National Football League exists in its current form today because of the Sabol family.
Steve Sabol will be missed.
