LOS ANGELES, December 1, 2012 — Tragedy shook the NFL on Saturday with the murder-suicide committed by Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher. After careful consultation, the Chiefs decided to play their Sunday home game against the Carolina Panthers.
While football is a game, it is also the occupation of the players and the organizations. So while there will be heavy hearts on this NFL Sunday, the business of football does continue.
