HOUSTON, October 10, 2012—Last January, for this column I interviewed CEO Angel Rivera of VeraWear. Since then, Angel and his company have been growing rapidly. The article trended on Twitter and gained much attention, including from the likes of Donald Trump.
In the article, Angel stated that his inspiration was Donald Trump.
To Angel’s great surprise, Mr. Trump printed the article, autographed it, then emailed it to Angel. This opened the door for me to interview Mr. Trump exclusively in the Communities (Exclusive interview with Donald Trump, an extraordinary Dream Chaser (video))
Recently, several of Angel’s hash tags also trended on Twitter all around the world, and his followers have grown to over one million! Plus, he’s verified!
Angel and I kept in contact as friends through the last year, and I’m proud and honored to announce that we have recently joined forces. I have partnered with him as executive consultant to VeraWear, and have also taken on the duty of managing models. (Yes I know tough job.) Under the VeraFilms brand, I also host the edgy panel show, Carter Lee Presents the Fever.
VeraWear started out with just clothing, but has grown into an all-out entertainment force. The website visits are growing daily. It includes a column; Internet TV shows, including tutorials by Miss Peru; upcoming celebrity clothing lines; and exclusive models, including Dynasty Nicole and Emma Dudley.
With content being added every day, fans are continuously visiting the site and we couldn’t be more excited. “I’m extremely thrilled to have the worldwide reach we have now, and to be working closely with Carter on all of these projects,” says Angel.
As a manager and self-improvement speaker and author, it’s very important to me that any model I manage goes beyond beauty. Their inner beauty must parallel their outer beauty, and I take pride that my Bombshells are an encouragement and inspiration to others.
Carter’s Bombshells already have heads turning, and two of them host the Fever with me, Emma Dudley and Kayla Jones. “I’ve always enjoyed entertaining and hope to inspire other young women to go for their dreams. It’s a true honor to be in this position. It’s also a lot of fun working with Carter and Angel!” says Emma, a fitness model, dancer, Fever co-host, and spokesmodel for Carter Lee.
Model, designer, co-host of the Fever, and dancer Kayla Jones recently stated, “I have always had a passion for designing, fashion, dancing, and modeling. I love this opportunity because it will give me a chance to share my story and be an example for other young women. You can go through anything, and persevere and overcome.”
Exclusive model and photographer to Carter and VeraWear, Alana Settles, says, “As corny as it sounds, I want to change the world, or at least do my part. There are so many young women hurting out there and I want them to know that healing is possible, and that you can overcome and achieve your dreams.”
