CHICAGO, September 18, 2011—Is a new insidious form of Jim Crow rearing its ugly head in America? Are some minority citizens to be treated differently and more harshly than the rest?
Is a new ist, ism, or hate philosophy gaining traction?
It appears this administration, and its merchants of poison, are generating vitriolic hate toward a specific minority group. They are to be restricted and punished with special taxes, assessments, and laws to isolate and control them. They are to be shamed and branded. These people are being singled out and marked for economic extermination.
Classists are spreading their message of hate and punishment throughout the land. They are hooded, robed, and ready to ride off into their Valhalla of class warfare.
Does anyone really aspire to be poor? Are people inspired to live on unemployment benefits? Are we to be merely satisfied with our lot in life? Is the American dream to retire broke and live in poverty on Social Security?
Americans aspire to prosperity and wealth. They want to achieve and succeed. They want to prosper- fast, slow, or over a lifetime. They want to build something for their future and the future of their children. They want to preserve their wealth. Keep it. If they want to share it they do not want to be forced, coerced, or tortured by hatred.
This administration has revisited the ugly and hate filled ideology that all income belongs to the government. They can take, control and determine what you are entitled to. They can confiscate your money because it is really their money.
Barack Obama and his ilk believe you should be punished if you succeed. You should be specially taxed to pay some mythical fair share.
Taxing the rich will do nothing to pay down the deficit or reduce the debt. It won’t be a drop in the bucket. Only cutting government spending will do that. Cutting it to core essential services. Right to the bone.
Raising taxes on the wealthy will not help the poor, disabled, homeless, or most vulnerable among us. It will not save Social Security. It will not create jobs. It will not educate our children. It will not grow the economy. It will not redistribute wealth or income. It never has.
Taxing the wealthy will help Barack Obama with the well funded and vociferous progressives, academics, and left wing Democratic collectivists. It will make the control disciples ecstatic. They will jump for joy and praise him from the mountain tops. Media outlets will sing hallelujah. They are the new robber barons.
Their false theology of income gaps, wealth gaps, social responsibility, social compacts, and other myths will be validated and codified. People must be punished for being Americans. For exercising their rights to prosper and succeed. They must be punished for pursuing happiness.
Barack Obama does not care about working families, the unemployed, or the poor. He does not believe in the American dream of opportunity and prosperity. He believes in the inalienable right to be miserable. Misery loves company, so in the name of equality, all Americans must be miserable together.
There is no fair. There never will be. There will always be some who have more than others. It has been this way since Grog had a cave and Og lived outdoors. It will not change. The poor will always be with us. Some will always have more. Punishing people will not change the equation.
What President Obama is trying to do is preserve morbidly obese government at the expense of those who toil. Raising taxes on a very small percentage of the population is nothing but a cheap publicity stunt. If he was serious about taxation he would promote a total overhaul of the tax code- a massive Ponzi scheme rivaling Social Security.
Taxation is only supposed fund government operations. Nothing more. It is not supposed to redistribute wealth or income, modify personal behavior, create negative incentives, or promote ideologies. It is not a tool for social or economic engineering. It is not supposed to be regressive or progressive.
Barack Obama has only one theory of economics. Hate theory. It is time to stop the hate and the class warfare.
We may not see that for a very long time. There are too many powerful voices singing the chorus of hatred. There are too many who want to control accumulation and transfer it to a burgeoning government. Next, they will want salary caps on everyone. They are seeking a two class society. The slave class and the government class.
The American dream is based upon wealth creation not wealth taxation. We are being conditioned to believe in mediocrity, misery, and poverty.
The next self help books are being already being written for the New Age. Progressive authors are lining up with their tomes on New Thought. “The Laws of Failure.” “Think and Grow Poor.” “See You at the Bottom.” Failure Through a Negative Mental Attitude.” And a book that will be a classic for generations to come, “The Failure System that never Succeeds.”
By the way, if any of you liberal progressive unicorns really believe your mythology, pay your fair share of taxes. Do not take all the voluntary deductions- including the mortgage deduction- loopholes, and exemptions to arrive at adjusted gross income. Just volunteer to pay your fair share on your total gross income. Put your money where your hypocritical mouth is.
