CHICAGO, September 11, 2011—There is a fear industry operating in America, run by merchants of poison. The industry is centered in the world of political propaganda. Its master practitioners surround the president and run his campaign; they are the leaders of his party.
They work to generate a culture of fear by sowing a gnawing sense of uncertainty. This makes it easier to get America behind their policies. The goal of these fear mongers is to engineer and sustain consent to their policies through that fear.
For the past three years the fear industry has been specifically targeted at our economic situation. Its aim is to further erode the free market system and create a totally government-regulated market system. It was effective until the past nine months.
Fear, uncertainty, and doubt (FUD) is the tactic being employed to persuade us to follow a path of economic lunacy, intended to make the private sector (us) totally dependent on and beholden to the government.
FUD is designed to obscure logic and stifle critical thought. It inflames emotions and paves the way for mass acceptance of radical policy changes. Fear is manufactured and amplified by the media, an easy task in the hyper-speed 24/7 media world we live in today.
The merchants of poison use propaganda and misinformation to promote prejudice and bias towards targeted groups. They create class warfare through the use of hatred and baiting. They create enemies, target them, blame them, and continually denigrate them.
FUD promoted decades of inhumane prejudice and violence against African Americans in the South. FUD led us into WWI, the Cold War, the Korean War, and the Viet Nam war.
FUD also helped institutionalize political correctness, multi-culturalism, and the guilt we are supposed to bear just for being Americans.
FUD is the Democrats’ tactic of choice in their attacks on billionaires and millionaires, corporations, energy companies, and financial institutions. Fear makes it easy to blame them for all our ills and consent to their destruction.
The problem, as the evidence clearly shows, is they have been attacking the wrong people.
Why? Because Americans are wired to fight injustice.
What the Democrats have done is unjust. Instead of enemies and criminals, they’ve created victims. People have started to realize it. They see the targets of FUD as victims, not enemies of the state. They’ve started to believe the government itself is the enemy.
Liberals and progressives are still trying to use FUD to pursue their policies of economic destruction. They are still trying to convince the public we are being attacked by an internal enemy. Rather than reason, they use emotive language to persuade us that failure to believe them exposes the nation to grave danger and risks economic collapse.
Look at President Obama’s last speech. “Pass the bill” and “act now” were repeated in some form over and over again. Pass this bill or economic apocalypse will result. Only there was no bill. It did not exist.
The President showed up empty handed. He wants a Jobs Act passed before it is written.
As with ObamaCare, we can only know what’s in the act once it’s passed. Obama and his handlers hope we will buy into another charade. We won’t. He has not been paying attention. We no longer trust him. We do not want to hate the wealthy; we want to be them. We do not want to hate business, banks and Wall Street; we want jobs with them. We do not want to see profit punished; we want to gain from the opportunities profits create.
What the Democrats refuse to understand is, it’s all about us. Not about them. Our needs, wants, and desires are what matter. Not the government’s, not the president’s.
We are Americans. It is not our nature to be afraid. We should not let politicians and the media make us afraid. We should not be baited into hatred. We should not be prejudiced or biased against any group or entity.
It is time the people create of fear, fear in our political leaders that they will lose their jobs. The President and his coterie strongly believe they are entitled to their positions. It is time to make them live the same nightmare they created for us.
