What will Obama do?

When Obama gives his grand speech after Labor Day will he man up and face reality or will it be more fuliginous, gaseous, gimcrack, maudlin, meretricious nonsense.

CHICAGO, August 29, 2011- President Obama came into office with a distinct advantage.  He had a Democratic Congress and Senate.  He had the potential to accomplish great things.  He promised to bridge the partisan divides and get the country moving forward again.  He promised  the “fierce urgency of now”.

He broke those promises and gave us partisan warfare and wait and see.

This president had the opportunity to become a great historical figure.  Unfortunately he squandered all that potential and opportunity.  He failed.  He put his party, partisanship, and personal ideology before our country.

President Obama has been blind and deaf to the real problems facing America.  He gives lip service while pushing for agendas that do nothing to help working families.  Instead of hope and change, he has created fear and loathing.

He should have learned his lesson in November when his party lost the House.  Obama should have switched gears.  Alas, he just kept on going in his own direction- his my way or the highway governance.

People want jobs, he wants amnesty for illegal aliens.

People want jobs, he wants gay rights and ending Don’t ask, don’t tell in the military.

People want jobs, he goes golfing, on vacation, or on international apology tours.

People want jobs, he bashes the job creators.

People want jobs, he wants what he wants.

This president just doesn’t get it.  People care about themselves.  Self preservation is the first order of nature.

We want paychecks, not unemployment checks or welfare checks.  We want to buy groceries with our own earned money.  Not restricted LINK cards.  We want to work in factories, assembly plants, and industrial sites.  We do not want to wait for some futuristic so called green techno-ideology to come on line in the distant future.

People want to save and invest for their future.  They want to create some semblance of prosperity.

America has an unsustainable tax policy that is draconian, regressive, and unfair to all of its citizens, from billionaires to those living in abject poverty.  We have a regulatory system that is out of control and power mad.  We have politicians afraid to make the necessary changes to correct the problems.  Politicians who pander to vocal and well funded minorities and special interest groups.

In September the election cycle will start in full swing.  The president is supposed to give a major speech after Labor Day.  He is once again going to falsely claim he can create jobs.

President Obama frightened businesses into hiring freezes with his flawed ideology of higher taxes, higher debt, massive regulations, and class warfare rhetoric.  Unless he is going to apologize and reverse his stances nothing will change.  There will be no new jobs on the near horizon.  The economy will only improve when private industry says it will.  If they do not hear what they should then the recession continues.

No matter what he thinks, Obama can’t just wave a magic wand and create 100% employment or full industiralization.  He went to Harvard Law not Hogwarts School of Magic.  It will take a total pro-business and industrial stance.  We’ll see unicorns before that happens.

He will not create jobs.  He will not preside over an economic recovery.  That takes businesses to produce goods and services.  Businesses he has given no reason to do so.  The government is not the economy.  Business is.  The more the government does the worse the business climate gets.

So, will Barack Obama finally grow out of his short pants age of radical politics and tell businesses what they want to hear?  Or will he tell the people what he thinks they want to hear and create more economic havoc and chaos?

Will he finally stop the piffling, portentous, sophomoric, and puerile blame game and finally man up?

Inquiring minds want to know.
