Obama demands tax increases to pay for his new bus

CHICAGO, August 16, 2011—President Obama is raising the hue and cry. Raise taxes. In his first stop on the Magical Mystery Bus Tour, Cannon Falls Minnesota, President Obama declared taxes must go up.

Contrary to all economic and common sense he wants to punish Americans. He wants to put the government before the people. Punish people and reward government.

He is talking up a storm:

That’s just not common sense.” The president was referring to the GOP refusal to raise taxes. It is not common sense to spend more money than you take in. We don’t need more taxes. America needs less spending and less draconian regulation.

You’ve got to be willing to compromise to move the country forward.” You only compromise on intelligent choices. You need a policy, plan, or deal to compromise on.  Obama had none of those. Even his media pals got wise to that.

I make no apologies for being reasonable.” The only person in Washington more unreasonable than the president is Nancy Pelosi.

The games must stop.” When he starts working and stops playing basketball and golf the games will stop.

I know it’s not election season yet.” Then why is he on the Magical Mystery Bus Tour campaigning? It is touted it as a White House Event, as if the people are really that stupid.  This president has been campaigning since he took the oath of office. If he spent more time working and less time… oh never mind.

There is nothing that we’re facing that we can’t solve with some spirit of America first… “  President Obama traveled the world apologizing for the spirit of America, proclaimed America was not an exceptional country, and declared, by fiat, the end of the American era. Instead of selling the American Experience he sold the country down the drain.

“…a willingness to say we’re going to chose country over party.” He puts his party over the country every single day. If he cared about the country his party would dump him. There is still a lot of resentment from old party hands that the upstart shot to the top.

President Obama played the blame game again. Being the progressive president means never having to take responsibility. Bo ate his deal, Michelle hid it from him as a cute joke, the kids took it to school by mistake. It is all Bush’s fault. Arch Criminal Cheney sent burglars to the White House to steal his plan. That fiend Karl Rove was behind it. The Japanese Tsunami, the European crises, aliens landing in Roswell, New Mexico, and Fiducians infiltrating the the government caused a reversal in the economy.

But there is a bigger problem, a very huge perception problem. We live in a world where Americans are losing their jobs, homes, retirement funds, the kid’s college education money, and wondering if there will be a future. In an era when the treasury is empty, he has the government buy him a $1.1 million luxury state of the art armored bus. There are actually two. Supposedly the other one is for his opponent.

2.2 million tax dollars for luxury buses. This is how Obama cuts spending. That’s common sense, the American spirit, and putting the country first all rolled into one.

Now we know why he really wants to raise taxes. He wants billionaires, millionaires, and corporations to pay for luxury armored buses. Pity the people did not know about these buses before the sky started falling in. He would have been run out of the country.

What’s next? An armored Maybach for the presidential limousine? How about a sleek new corporate style luxury jet. That Air Force one is just so stodgy and military looking. Heck, those billionaires and millionaires can afford to buy their president some really cool toys.

Where’s our bus? How come we don’t get a luxury bus to tour the nation? This is the age of entitlement and we are entitled to luxury buses. Make those rich folks and profit grabbing corporations pay for them. A chicken in every pot and a luxury bus in every driveway.

On a more serious note, how many feet per gallon do those buses get? Do they burn bio-mass or french fry diesel? Are they hybrids? What is their carbon foot print? Was the manufacturer green certified? How large is the profit of the corporation that made the buses? How obscene are the salaries of the executives? Is the manufacturer owned by a millionaire or billionaire? Inquiring minds want to know.

Actions speak louder than words. Those buses should be the last straw. This president is out of control. He wants the rest of us to tighten our belts while he spends the treasury on man toys and bling.

There should not be one red cent in new taxes until the budget is cut to the very bone.  Then they can lower taxes for everybody.  Put more money in our pockets. That is putting the country first. That’s the American spirit. That’s hope and change. That’s just plain common sense. No negotiation, plans, or deals needed.

Oh, and those two buses, put them on ebay. Today. You betcha.
