Annandale Lions Club selling fruit for Christmas

WASHINGTON, DC, November 8, 2013 —Winter is in the air but the Annandale Lions Club Charities Inc. has decided to bring a bit of summer to Fairfax County.

This Sunday, the Annandale Lions Club will hold a Florida Citrus Fruit Sale in tandem with Boy Scout’s St. Michael Troop 894. The Fruit Sale will take place in the parking lot of the Annandale Swim and Tennis Club at 7530 Little River Turnpike.

Starting at 8:30AM, Lions club members will have cases of Florida oranges, tangerines, tangelos, and grapefruit as well as local apples and pears available. White House Christmas ornaments and Lions Club cookbooks will also be for sale. Proceeds support the Annandale Swim Club.

The Annandale Lions Club will also hold Florida Citrus Fruit Sales in December, February, and March.
