LIVE CHAT HBO’s Game of Thrones: Walk of Punishment, Sunday, 9 pm ET

SAN DIEGO, April 14, 2013 – The first two episode of Season 3 of HBO’s “Game of Thrones” have taken care to catch viewers up with the main characters, introduce important new characters, and talk through all the important details. We know that fans crave more action; we counsel you to be patient. Believe us, it’s coming.

Episode 3 of Season 3 is titled  “Walk of Punishment.” We return to the storyline of Danaerys Targaryen, the Mother of Dragons. We saw her in Episode 1 looking into buying an army of mercenary slaves, a decision against her moral belief. She nevertheless decides to move forward as a means to an end: regaining the Iron Throne.

At the end of Episode 2, Jaime Lannister and Brienne of Tarth were captured. What is their fate now? Will they ever make it safely to King’s Landing? It seems Jamie is willing to sacrifice Brienne to save himself. Meanwhile, Theon Greyjoy escapes from his captors.

Tyrion Lannister had a difficult conversation with his father, Tywin, who denied him his birthright, Casterly Rock. But he receives a new set of responsibilities in this episode, and he finds he’s ill equipped for them.

Arya Stark was confronted by Thoros of Myr, a Red Priest who presides over the Brotherhood of Banners. We will learn more about the role he is to play in her life and her quest to return home.

Stannis Baratheon appears utterly defeated after the Battle of Blackwater. But he isn’t dead yet, and there’s still some fight left in him. Another demon baby with pagan priestess Melisandre, sure, that’s the ticket.

We will also go beyond the wall as Jon Snow is taken to the Fist of the First Men.

We also know now that several characters are wargs, humans who are able to enter the bodies of animals, join their minds and direct their thoughts; and seers, able to look into the future. Where will these powers manifest themselves?
