Grassroots rage over Obamacare, gun control will hit hard in 2014

WAKE FOREST, N.C., September 30, 2013 — The American people are sick and tired of politicians who do not listen to them. Elected officials are sent to do the will of the people, and therefore have an obligation to listen to the people. They do not, and despite cover from the media, the word is getting out.

Grass roots uprisings against elected officials are occurring more frequently in recent years. In Colorado, the political status quo was shaken at the foundation when citizens demanded a recall vote on two state senators who pushed for more restrictive regulations on residents’ Second Amendment rights. Senators Morse and Giron, whose real offense was their arrogant dismissal of dissent from their constituents, received a rude awakening and were ousted from public office.

Much of what is going on across the country is not entirely the fault of reckless politicians. Apathetic citizens who are more interested in sports, pop culture and entertainment have been asleep at the wheel , and have been lulled to sleep by pseudo-news delivered by comedians on late night television. Others have been duped by mainstream media news, whose objectivity is on an equal plane with the Middle East’s Al Jazeera, now broadcast on American cable and satellite networks. The American people have been lied to and deceived.

However, that is changing with the growth of alternate media such as The Blaze TV, Breitbart.com, Conservative radio, and a growing number of blogs and social network initiatives. Things are changing, the voters have been aroused, and they do not like what they see.

Many today are too young to remember Howard Jarvis, who led a citizens’ revolt against rising taxes in California. Jarvis’ iconic presence and leadership in mobilizing California citizens was so effective that a prominent taxpayer’s association was named in his honor. This is must-see for all who are looking for encouragement that “We the People” can, in fact, take decisive action that reels-in runaway government spending:

The effects of the oxymoronic Affordable Care Act, ObamaCare, is killing jobs, limiting health care choices of citizens, and threatening to collapse the American economy. Those who have not done all they could to stop this disaster are already on record. The voters will exercise their constitutional rights at the ballot box to send them home, and elect true patriots who will dare to do the will of the people.

Career politicians at local, state and federal levels: Be afraid, very afraid of the seismic shift awaiting you in 2014. We are fed up, and we’re sending you home!
