WASHINGTON, June 6, 2013 — Al-Jazeera is about to bring jihad to American cable TV.

Al-Jazeera bought Al Gore’s unwatched Current TV earlier this year and plans to convert it to Al-Jazeera America.  That’s right, the alleged news organization that gets much of it’s funding from the Qatar government is coming to American TV screens.

Isn’t that what you want on your local cable TV outlet?  Al-Jazeera has promised to “Americanize” its US operation. The favored channel of suicide bombers everywhere is going to be “Americanized.”

For American’s who want to block Al-Jazeera in America and help a real American news channel, there is an alternative.

You probably have not yet heard about “One America News.”

You will.

One America News is an American news operation based in San Diego and will launch on July 4.

Why July 4?

It is an American news company.  The great news is it is a right of center News Company too.

Right now on cable TV, you have no conservative cable news outlets. Zero. The left has MSNBC. There is CNN and Headline News. Fox News only promises that it is fair and balanced.

So what does all of this have to do with the favorite channel of terrorists around the world?

Both Al-Jazeera and One America News are trying to get onto cable channels. Cable operators will occasionally drop one channel they have in favor or something that is or at least looks more promising.

One cable news personality who spoke on the condition of anonymity said, “cable outlets would pick one of the two, but it is very unlikely they would pick up both.”

There you have it.

You can choose between a channel that is funded by, and loved by, extremists in the Middle East or you can choose a channel that is built by Americans, for Americans and that is American at heart.

You can choose a cable news network that is anti-American, anti-Semitic and loves terrorists. You can choose a cable network that threw a birthday party for a terrorist that killed a Jewish family, was the propaganda arm of the enemy during the Iraqi War, is a platform for almost every far left wing anti-American crack pot as well as almost ever anti-American Islamist extremist.

Al-Jazeera’s Arabic channel still hosts Sheikh Yusuf Al-Qaradawi. He is a radical Islamist who has millions of followers, mostly from the Muslim Brotherhood.  Al-Jazeera has given him hours of time so that he could radicalize people by telling them suicide bombings were perfectly justifiable as well as calling for a Jihad against America.

Ask yourself one simple question:  Is this what you want on your local cable channel?

Do you want a so-called “news channel” that is not only stridently anti-American but has been used as a tool to radicalize Islamists around the world?  Does anyone think that Al-Jazeera America would be any different from it’s parent company?

Or do you want One America News?

Call your local cable TV operator today and tell them you want One America News on your cable menu.  Ask them to pick up One America News and tell them under no circumstances should they add the favorite channel of terrorists around the world, Al-Jazeera to the local cable lineup.

Judson Phillips is the founder of Tea Party Nation, one of the largest Tea Party Groups in the country and the number one national tea party site on the Internet.

A lawyer by profession, Judson has been involved in politics since his teens. “Ronald Reagan inspired me,” he says.

Judson became involved in the Tea Party movement in February 2009 after hearing Rick Santelli’s rant on CNBC.   “I heard there was going to be a Tea Party in Chicago inspired by Santelli, but didn’t know if anyone was doing a rally in Nashville where I was based.  Finally I emailed Michelle Malkin and asked her if there was a Tea Party in Nashville.  Malkin sent an email back saying, ‘No, why don’t you organize one?’  I did.”

The first Tea Party in Nashville was held late February 2009 which drew a crowd of about 600. Judson then organized the Tax Day Tea Party in Nashville, which drew over 10,000 people into downtown.   It was at this time that Tea Party Nation was formed.  Later that year, Judson decided to bring activists from across the country together, so he organized the first National Tea Party Convention in February 2010, which featured Alaska’s former Governor and Republican Vice Presidential Nominee, Sarah Palin as it’s keynote speaker.

He currently manages the Tea Party Nation website, writes several daily columns and is working on more projects than any one person should.  He is a frequent guest on cable and broadcast news shows, including on Fox, MSNBC, CNN and others.
