MLS - Major League Soccer announces 2013 schedule

WASHINGTON, D.C., January 9, 2013 —  Major League Soccer has released its 2013 season. Each of the 19 clubs will play 34 matches, 17 at home and 17 away, over 35 weeks. All 323 games will be televised live, 87 via national network partners. Local club D.C.

United [see schedule ] will appear on NBC twice, first during rivalry week against the New York Red Bulls in the first leg of the 2013 Atlantic Cup (3/16) and then in the last game of the season against the Houston Dynamo (10/27). Eastern Conference Finals against the Houston Dynamo. Twenty-five of United’s games will be against Eastern Conference foes.
MLS champion the Los Angeles Galaxy will visit RFK Stadium on Sept. 15 for a 5 p.m. game against United.
